Hi having some issues trying to fix up my old man’s 86 gt, replaced the fuel pump and starter Solonoid, the Amps drop at the battery and solonoid under 12 in the key on position but the relay clicks. Could it be a bad ground? I checked the main ground by the battery and it’s fine. Any help is appreciated thanks

The Amps drop or the voltage drops?
You should see a small voltage drop when the key goes to the [ON] position and until the fuel pump is done priming.
Full battery voltage returns when the pump stops. At that point, you should have a constant 35 psi of fuel pressure until you roll the key over to [Start].
