is my highbeams headlights on the outside or the inside on the 86 mustang not sure if they are the same or not

High beams are on the inside of 4-eyes. As far as I know, all cars with that style headlight setup are like that. There used to be strict DOT requirements on headlight styles, sizes, layouts, patterns, and do on.

inside pair.... look at the back of the light. 2 prong=high beam, 3 prong= low/high beam.
