My buddy is installing 87-93 quarter windows in his 86 we took out the old 86 window and when we were looking to install the newer quarter window realized that their was a moulding on the 86 that goes from the front window to the rear window the new quarter window covers it for the most part.Does any one know if it would be best to cut off moulding or just try to cover with new window.Baffled!!!

Most people cut it right at the point that it meets the quarter glass trim. The newer glass has a kind of prong that slips into the newer trim above the door....i'm not sure what you do about that really...cut it off or whatever...you just wanna make it as flush and seemless as you can so it doesn't look stupid.
