Where is the MAF located? Friend bought car and needs to know.

unless he has converted to mass air he is speed density. and if he has converted it he should know where its at but if it was converted before he got it, it is in the air intake tube, cant miss it.its the only electrical component in the tube

I thought it was '89. I think they did switch in '88 for Cali stangs?

89 for normal cars or 88 for the cali cars.

Mine is in the Passenger side fenderwell... Right where I put it when I did the conversion.
