Ok heres my problem, on the 87-89 cars there are some dummy lights on the lower right hand side of the cluster bezel. When my car got stolen they tore that plastic indicator up. I just need to know what the lights stand for, I know that there is a low oil light, I belive its the top left of the four, then theres a low fuel light and I think thats the lower left but I cant remember what the others are. I thought there were some that werent used and thats what Im looking for. Thanks for the help.

Yeah but it's easy to put in an LX. I put those dummy lights in mine. All you need is the little card and pod that goes behind it. It clips to the instrument cluster. A soon as i put it in my low oil light works, and my loow coolant light works but i no longer have a factory overflow so the sensor is gone. I've never seen the low fuel light go on but i don't run my car down that low. As for the washer fluid...if i can get a 87-89 GT washer bottle with the sensor i'm pretty sure it would work

Top left is oil
bottom left is low coolant
top right is low fuel
bottom right is low washer fluid

If you haven't figured it out already the upper left is low oil, upper right is low gas, lower left is coolant, and lower right is washer fluid. Im positive about the top 2 but the bottom ones might be switched around. I had to replace the bulbs yesterday... fun...

I would almost swear that the lower right is check engine, not low washer. Low washer isnt even on that cluster, its oil, coolant, fuel, and engine.

Nope, it is low washer fluid.

87-88 cars don't even have a Check Engine light. Well they do, it's in the bottom right of the tachometer....but there is no bulb there. Speed Density cars don't have the means to display a CE light. That's a mass air only deal.

That's why us SD guys can't wait for a light to run codes....cuz there will never be one
