87-93 fuel tank fit our years??

Is the tank from the 87-93 mustangs the same as ours? All of the ones I found online say they fit 87-93 stangs but it looks like the same one. Mine is ruined and I need to buy another one. Anyone know where there is a good deal on a quality replacement? Thanks fellas,

im not sure if they fit or not but if you find out, i have one that i took off my striped fox body that i can sell you

thanks for the offer but I want to go with a brand new one. I have had a lot of problems with my fuel system as of late and a new tank (along with new injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel rails) will give me piece of mind. I already ordered one so hopefully it fits. My brother took one out of a 96 and put it in his 89 so I think I'll be fine.

87-98 are the same gas "tank". I ordered a new one for $119 shipped. The tank came with new rings and washers. No sense searching a junk yard. just search google.

Yep. Same tank.

thanks everybody. I just order one along with a new 190 lph fp and a new filler neck grommet. Damn this is getting expensive

I know how you feel. I started out to replace a blown head gasket and $7000 later I have a practically rebuilt car. But hey, I'm happy! It's a passion... actually closer to an addictive obsession. I refuse treatment.
