87 donor car for 86 coupe.

I have an 86 coupe 4cyl that I am currently building. I scored a 87 5.0 as a donor for free!! I'm pulling the motor and trans, radiator, motor mounts, and cross member. What else should I grab? I'm running a carb so the computer and injector can stay. Do I need to grab the K member or is my coupes okay. What about the axle in my coupe. Do the 4cyl and 8cyl have the same rear end? And finally the brakes. Any info would great!!

K-member should be the same, but why take chances? The diff in your car is a 7.5, while the donor's is an 8.8 - considerably stronger. So get that, too. Front brakes are bigger, too, I believe, and a direct swap.

Why not take everything (including the gas tank, fuel lines, computer, etc.) and have a nice 225hp FI car? It's the way to go if there's a possibility of using it as a daily driver.

Swap EVERYTHINGGGGGGG that you possibly can. Literally. Engine, harnesses, trans, rear, brakes, etc etc etc. If it is possible to swap it, do it.
