You're looking at a beautiful, wonderful, 5 Speed fountain of youth! 225bhp, 300lb-ft, turns gasoline into fun! The perfect car for your summer at the lake is right under your nose, ready to go. I'm the 3rd Owner, purchased May of last year for a summer toy. My winter beater is dying, and at this point I would rather sell both and have a car I can drive all year round.
THE GOOD:
Floor Pans and Torque boxes are in great shape, 100% rust-free.
Garage kept every winter for 30 years, very clean.
Fresh Top installed by previous owner, power function still works perfectly.
Off-Road H Pipe and Flowmaster 40 Mufflers give it a great growl.
I have fixed the dreaded Foxbody idle surge so YOU don't have to!
Absolutely no fluid leaks!
Car and Driver loved it in 1987, and I love it today.
Cruise Works, Power Mirrors work, New Radio + Dash Speakers (which also work).
New Headlights, New Alternator and Water Pump (Have Receipts)
THE BAD:
Paint scraped off at front bumper (See Pictures).
Some rust under the passenger window weatherstripping (Trapped Moisture
Rear Passenger window motor is no longer working (I just use my hands to pull the window up).
Can only fit 1 set of golf clubs in the trunk.
Power Steering whines a bit at full lock when stationary.
AC does not work.
All-in-all, a great toy to have. If you're ever having an off day, a nice 2nd gear pull is guaranteed* to put a smile on your face. It's the car you've always wanted, and now is the perfect time to buy. I am highly negotiable, and would love to answer any more questions!
