So I’m getting ready to rebuild my rear end and do a 5 lug conversion. While I was under the car doing a once over, I noticed my driver torque box had a nice crack in it. My power levels are crazy but I know the car before I owned it had way more power at one point. The current set up is a 306 with ported P heads. The bottom end I have no idea. 70mm TB, 76 mag, and 24 lb injectors. Nothing crazy here. My question is, can I get away with just purchasing the BMR torque box reinforcement kit? This would be the total upper and lower kit. Or would it be in my best interest to have it repaired or replaced with something like the Wildhorses torque box?
