88 Gt underdrive pulleys?

I am looking into aset of bbk underdrive pulleys for my 88 GT Vert 3 piece kit alt, crank and waterpump, are they worth theprice I have heard 10-15 horse is that accurate? thanks

I couldn't tell a difference at all except my voltage gauge dropped down from where it used to run.maybe it would show on a dyno

I don't believe you'll see 10-15hp on pulleys. It was somewhere around just a few hp, however it all adds up. If you're going to get pulleys be sure to have at least a 130amp alt.

under ultimate conditions like the ud's were more than likely tested at the factory r&d department you could possible see 10-15 hp gain.
but in real word conditions 2-5 hp possibly.

They add up with the other mods. Nobody does one mod, but 2-3 HP here and there adds up

Best bang for the buck mod besides gears. Get them and a 3G and you'll be set.

Underdrive pulleys have their place on the car. If you live in a big city in the southern or desert part of the country, you may see some overheating issures. The 3G alternator upgrade is almost a must for any car with underdrives.
