88 Headlight Help...please

I have an 88 mustang gt....been modified to an lx so no fog lights or fog light switch. the stupid switch is picky....if i turn it all the way on....I get headlights only....no parking lights and no dash lights. i can only get everything to work if I barely bump the switch the right way. I've tried a new switch. same thing happens. any ideas???

Remove the switch, turn it on, and do continuity testing between the power feed inlet terminal and the parking light terminal (parking light wire is brown). If you have to do the wiggle dance with the switch to even achieve continuity in this test, it's the switch.
