Looks super clean, except could probably use new springs and shocks.

Weird that they just blacked out the phone dials and didn't use steel wheels.

Also looks like they installed the wrong battery at one time... Look at the picture of the drivers front 3/4 view... I see a top post dent there...

Funny how fast we are to pic apart a car! That is a clean mustang for all of the service it has been through. The car has over 100k on it and those aren't your grandma's miles. Steel Wheels were not used on any of the Mustangs in our Department. Yes the ass sags and yes there is a dent wow! Still a clean car for what is has been through.

Don't be so oversensitive. Nobody bashed the car. They were just being observant.

Didn't the SSP cars have the battery mounted in the trunk?

Nope, the battery was in the stock location. Im not sure why or when they stopped using steel rims. My '85 had steelies but ive seen them with 10 holes so maybe it depended on what the dept ordered. I know by '87 they were all on 10 holes, so it could be that a viable steel wheel wasnt available or cost effective.
