Hey Guys,
My 88 GT wouldn't start again after driving home 40+ miles home from work today. I can hear the brand new fuel pump I just put in priming when I turn the ignition on. When I go to start the car I can just hear a click. Sounds like it getting power to the starter. I tried jumping it thinking it might be the battery but same thing. I tapped on the starter, fender mounted solenoid, coil, TFI module and nothing. Car was running fantastic before then. I even stopped and filled up the tank about a 1/2 mile away from my house right after I drove 40 miles and 5 minutes before I had an issue and no starting problems at the gas station. What the hell? I know sometimes the starter will get heat soaked but I've owned 4 foxbodies and that's never happened to me. I know that the coil, fender mounted solenoid, and TFI module are fairly old, but before I just throw parts at it I wanted to see what all you guys thought first. Please respond back to me with some ideas, I would greatly appreciate it!! I
