'89 5.0 ringing noise

Got a ringing noice coming from under the hood. Doesnt do it all the time. Anybody?

does it sound like cricket broadband..online offline online offline,,,sorry hission made me laugh,,tell more on when it rings,how long will it ring,what causes the ring and what makes ring go..that you have noticed?
