Alright, I'm having problems wiring the starter selinoid in my mom's 89 2.8L Firebird and you guys have been awesome helping me out in the past with my stang... Does anyone know what wire hook up to the four posts on the selinoid? I have the black (ground) a red (power, I'd assume), then it looks like another power (red with a Y-connection) and the smaller wire that I'm pretty sure hooks into the right post on the selinoid...
I'd have it all wired, except my dad decided to take off the old starter and with his limited mechanical ability he didn't think to remember what wires went where on the starter, so it makes it fairly difficult to troubleshoot where they're suppose to go when I don't know where to start. (No pun intended)
I tried telling my mom just to buy a 05 Stang GT, but she's not buying it...
If you could even tell me where to go to find the info, everywhere I've been online (and in the manual) it says "write down where the old wires are, before disconnecting them..." Thanks Chilton...
