he apologizes for his spelling because he's a mechanic.

I've seen many mechanics spell VERY well for those high repair bills lol

I used to get upset when I would see a post on some forum/messageboard or an Ebay auction with poor grammar.

I would be more upset when it was an automobile of high value or something else of similar high value. It just didn't make sense. Of course I was looking at this with a quasi, social ecoonomic glare.
My wife is an English teacher which pretty much makes me a full time English student. Anyway, she pointed out that the level of education in the United States varies so greatly from state to state you never really know at what grade level of English someone graduated high school from.

With that said...... well, you know what I'm saying.

You just never know who you are dealing with on the Internet.

I just look past poor grammar now. Do you think the guy would come up with an auction with spelling and punctuation errors like that if he could help it? Obviously not.

Sorry, back to the thread.

I remember this car because it had pictures of it taken around a warehouse area in Downey or Norwalk. Somewhere like that. I can't even remember who asked me if I could take a look at it but the auction ended and the car was sold. If I do remember, the car was bone stock.

18 is too high.

15 ish would not be a bad price considering you could sell the aftermarket goodies and make some money on them. Hope he has the original wheels.

If i remember correctly he had a sob story of why he was ridding of it the first time.
Now he wants a 67, and he's willing to "throw in" a 93 cobra to get one.

Reserve met at $15,500.

Still too much for me considering all the mods and mileage. but that is my opinion.

I e-mailed the guy about the discharge tube, he made that himself he said and could make me one, but it wouldn't work with the powerpipe I have so I declined the offer from him. His reply indicated that he seemed like a nice guy.

I can't believe these foxbodys are getting that pricey.

It's up to $ 15,500. (96,xxx miles and an auto.) Wow!

Well, looks like it is still unsold. High bidder looked at car and was not satisfied.

At least all is still well with the market. I don't care how rare the car is, it is too overpriced for a high mileage, modded out Saleen.

Sad to see the car in that bad of shape. Wish people would take better care of collector cars. That is the car that inspired me to make my Saleen clone.
