89 Stang Console E-Brake rubber grommet boot ? Help Please!

I have an 89 mustang gt that is a project car of mine. I have a question about the console e-brake rubber boot/gasket seal. They are notorious for ripping, and coming off. SO, anyone who has replaced, or fixed that with either some form of rubber, or a boot, or anything I would like to hear about it. Please include the part used, where to get it, and the install. Pictures would be great too. Thanks in advance.

Ebrake

I am sorry, I am kind of new to the forum. I thought he was saying i need to subscribe before I ask a question, or sometihng like that. My bad.

Anyways, in another forum I got this information. www.redlinegoods.com has a ebrake boot for the 87-93 stangs. It is kind of pricey, but is probably worth it considering how crappy they look without anything around them. What do you all think?

Does anyone know of anywhere else that has them? Or any other ideas?

ebrake boot

I have an 89 gt convt, 5 spd. I am going to get their shifter and ebrake boots, that is from redlinegoods.com. My exterior is black, my interior is gray.

WHAT COLOR BOOT? SHould i get black boots, with gray piping, should I get black boots with gray striping? What does everyone think? I have the black ones for my car. Not installed yet, but will be in the next month or so. Great quality, and should dress the interior up somewhat.
