Hey fellow stangers. I was wondering what would be the best cam to go with gt40 heads and cobra intake. Maybe an B cam?

what springs are on the heads

T5 trans 302 motor everything else is going to be pretty much stock. Proably put timing at 14* going to be a street car

Alphabet cams are so 2000’s, I mean that’s why I jammed a F cam in a pretty stock 302 in my 20’s.

Stock HO cam plus some 1.7 RR's would work well. Good torque, good driveability. You just don't have that cool lumpy sound.

unplug a vacuum line if you want it to sound like a b cam

Are you serious? Because that is exactly what I got goin’ on in my build! Haha! I did it because I wanted stock driveability out of a 351.

When I built my engine I had trouble choosing a camshaft as well. I just called comp cam's tech line and spoke with a very helpful dude. He asked what my specs were including vehicle weight, rear end gears, etc. I was pretty happy with the result.
