I know these pics are bad but hopefully they give the idea. If it looks wavy in some of the pics, it's because it's not attached yet. Just wanted to get an idea of what it will look like. Ignore the paint on the trunk also, it's just spray painted until I get it done professionally. I can't decide if I want to leave it black or paint it red to match the rest of the car, or just ditch it all together. I think the trunk looks like it's missing something without any type of wing with the stalker front end. I like the cobra wing, but I want to try something different. I will be changing the hood to either a 1.5"-3" cowl or cobra r hood. I will also be adding cobra side skirts and bumper extensions. I'm also contemplating looking for a stock gt front bumper. If I leave it black, I also might add a mach 1 type stripe to the cowl hood or cobra r hood. Just looking for opinions/criticisms. Let me know what you think.....

Thanks Yeah I'm starting to think that too the more and more I look at it. Might look better on an LX?

I got it off of ebay for like $25. It's some company that makes M3 style lip spoilers for pretty much any car you want. I bought one for my 05 Legacy and liked it so I figured what the hell, it's only $25 if I end up not liking it on the vert

nice idea. I think it would look nice on a coupe smoothed out and painted body color.

No offense, I thought it was weather stripping glued to the trunk.

No offense taken. Thats why I posted this, to get people's opinions.

I can't make up my mind. Some angles I think it looks ok, others I think it looks like just a piece of misplaced rubber. Maybe painting it red will take away that cheap rubber look?

I don't care for it...just my opinion but it is to small and will hardly be noticeable if painted red. Here is another idea that I was going to do to my 85 vert and decided not to since putting back more or less stock. My wife and kids always thought the 85 should have the stripe continued...lacking something and they don't like the 86 trunk I have with third light and luggage strips. So, I thought about continuing the hood stripe on the back of the car...starting it where the boot goes for the top (as wide as the hood stripe is at the windshield) and keep running it along the top of the trunk at the same width to length ratio as the hood.

I'm going to try painting it red over the weekend and see if that makes it look any better. It probably won't though. I like it less and less every time I look at it....

I think a ducktail spoiler would look better. The black one's too small IMO.

Put on a Cobra wing and you'll almost by my twin!

Are you trying to do something non-OEM or just looking for something stealthy? What about the '93 SE wing?

Doesn't look right. Just looks like a peice of weather stripping.

What's funny is I have seen those m3 lips on g35 sedans and they look good. Was gonna get one for mine....but on a stang it looks out of place.

Well I painted it red to see if it would look any better. It looks a little better, but still looks too small and out of place. Think I'll be going with a cobra spoiler. The pictures don't do it justice I guess because the lip does look better in person. It doesn't really look like a piece of weather stripping, but it still doesn't look very good. This just didn't turn out looking like it did in my head

OZZ-yeah our cars would look similar if I get the cobra wing. I'm also going to be changing to a cowl hood though

Does anyone know where to find the ASC McLaren wing? I really like it but can't find it anywhere. That's kind of the look I was going for with this M3 style wing. Had a saleen wing on this car before, but got tired of it. Some cars can pull it off, but in my opinion, the saleen wing looks too big
