I need to know how to adjust the e-brake somehow on my 90 mustang gt 5.0

it sucks and is'nt very good. i need to get it tighter. can i have exact directions on how to do it? if it has to do with the rear brakes i dont even know what to do with the brakes after i get off the wheel?

so i need explaining on that also. never dealt with brakes yet.

pull the tire 0ff. pull the drum 0ff (might need a hammer t0 get it l00se). d0wn at the very b0tt0m there is an adjuster wheel. turn it s0 that the adjuster gets l0nger and pushes the sh0es 0utward. d0nt g0 t0 far s0 y0u can still get the drum back 0n. n0w slide the drum 0n ab0ut halfway s0 that the drum is sitting in the middle 0f the sh0es. adjust it 0ut s0me m0re until there is very little play in the drum. and slide it all the way 0n and y0u sh0uld be g00d t0 g0. als0 if when y0u take the drum 0ff there is a lip at the inside edge where the sh0es have w0rn a gr00ve y0u will have t0 adjust the sh0es 0ut a little m0re. but anyways, with the sh0es adjusted pr0perly and the drums 0n the car (d0 0ne side at a time and have the drum 0ff 0f the 0ther side f0r this) y0u sh0uld be able t0 hear the sh0es just barely dragging. n0t a c0nstant grinding type grabbing but a slight drag.

ps. the ebrake sh0uld be fully engaged between 6-10 clicks 0f the handle

If you tighten up the drums and it still doesnt help then your cables probaly have stretched and you will need to replace them.
