90lx Guage cluster ticking

Hey,
In my 1990 lx mustang there is a ticking noise coming from the guage cluster while i'm driving. Anybody have any ideas on what it could be or how to fix it?

I'm having somewhat the same problem, I heard that you have to take it apart and put a little grease on the end of the speedo cable. give it a try, im gonna this weekend.

It's the speedo cable. Mine makes a bunch of noise but I never messed with it.

I had the same problem problem recently and like stated, it was the speedo cable. Grease it up and no ticking.
