No go on the plugin - I'd find a 94/95 PCM off eBay. You don't happen to have a chip on it eh? That'll throw a checksum error if not turned off.

They do not suck in general....just with the stock programming. It is a far better processor/computer compared to the fox A9 family. It is like comparing a 386 to a pentium3 or 4.

Get a tune or tuner on the eec by either learning how it works or from someone who knows the eec (like wes the guy who posted above you) and you will be better off than with a A9 that will still need a tune to get the most out of your combo.

Those 94-95 pcm gotta suck

I mean ..............
You can find all kinds of stuff written about it all over the net

Those old wives tales will never die

If one could get a fox pcm to make great power with NO ISSUES what so ever

and

A set of 355's which will turn way less rpm on the highway than 373's
as well as
Get way more gas milage than 373's

and

Then make sure when they do up a stroker

They do a 331 instead of a 347 so they don't have the oil issue thing
as well as
The 331 will not have a short life like you have with a 347

Well ... If a fellow could wrap all that good stuff up in his 94-95 Stang

He would be all set ... Now ... Wouldn't He

Honestly 5literstang

Sounds like you've been listening to
or
Hanging around peeps who TALK about it

If you go and hang around some peeps who have DONE it

You are gonna get a very different story :Word:

The pcm in the 94-95 GT and Cobra can be made to operate just fine like
Greg has said above

btw ...........
Greg knows his way around a 94-95 pcm
and
He would be one of those peeps I talked about who has ... DONE ... it

Have you tried reseating the chip? If it's not seated properly, or the contacts have corroded, you'll have issues galore. If you remove the chip, are you able to pull codes?
