Need to replace the pads and rotors, but can't get the Caliper piston to release to change the pads... I'm told it may be a twist-style piston(?) If so, How is this done?

Thanks guys!

Far as I know twist-in type pistons are used exclusively on rear disk brake applications where the parking brake engages the caliper.

It's a press in piston but they can be fussy...a c-clamp and a block of wood SHOULD be all you need to push it in.

Just make sure you have the bleed screw open, it makes it much easier to press in, and it prevents any gunk that is in the fluid from flowing backwards through the brake system.
