I just bought a 92 T-bird for a song and was wondering if any parts are worth keeping before I haul it off to the scrapyard. It has a 4.6 which runs good and has about 100,000 miles on but I have no use for a 4.6. It has an auto transmission that is bad. I thought about keeping that to replace my c-4 if it will even bolt up. Will it? Would it be worth the price of a rebuild if it will work? Besides the paint it is a nice looking car. Are there any other parts worth keeping? Thanks for all info.

It definately is a 4.6 mod motor. It says so right on top of the engine. I can't swear that it is a 92 but that is what I was told. I might just yank the tranny and scrap the rest. Are there any other parts that might be adaptable to an old Mustang?
