Guys, I have a question. On the 86 TC motor I have, there are a few sensors that are broken/dont work that go with the block itself. How compatible are the sensors such as the coolant temp sensor and others on the block with the ones off of the 93 mustang block. I would like to replace most of the sensors that are on the block that are located on the opposite side of the turbo. Any imput would be handy. Thanks in advance.

they should work just fine... the only one that comes to mind is the 93 TPS wont fit the 86 throttlebody. if you have a question about a particular one that would be easier to answer, but for the most part the sensors are the same on the two of them.

Well the reason I am asking is b/c there are sensors that I dont know the name of on the "non turbo" side and some are cracked, wires broken, etc. One that comes to mind is the long wire that goes into the pan that determines if your oil is low. That wire has a 2 or 3 places that it hooks up from what i can see. The stuff on top of the engine is in tact. Thank you 89lx for giving me hope in finally completing this project after having this engine on the stand for about..........forever.

the sensor such as the fanswitch, temp sending, oil sending should be the same and very usuable. Im working with my 87lx sensors, i know a few things changed in the 91-93 but not really those such things. Which is nice they stayed consistantly the same throughout the later 80's
