I have an '87 lx 5.0 that i recently bought a set of oem 93 cobra rims for but now when i put them on, the exhaust pipes and brake cables rub and the wheels are way farther in than they should be. Will just a set of spacers fix this and if so, how big should they be? Any advice would be greatly aprecciated. Thanks.

If they are TRUE OEM '03 Cobra wheels, then you'll need 3/4" spacers.

The 93 cobras had disk brakes in the rear, so the axles were pushed out 3/4". To compensate up front, the rotors were modified to versions with a 3/4" taller hat.

So if you don't want to use spacers up front, you can buy 1993 Cobra rotors...or just wait til your next brake job. Out back you'll need 3/4" spacers...or a t-bird rear brake conversion.

Alsom if you go spacers...upgrade the studs, esp since there are only 4 of them
