93 Cobra with BBK Intake and TB issue?

I am not a 5.0 guy so I need your help. I just got a 93 Cobra from my father-in-law. It had a BBK intake and TB installed a few weeks ago (before I got the car). The car was not running very good when I got it so I put new plugs, wires, and cap on the car. I also found a vac hose that was broken so I repaired it as well. The car is running better but had a high idle. I lowered the idle and it is now running fine.

The issue I am having with the car is that if you go WOT the car just lays down and feels like it has no power. If I get into it slowly, the car will pull very well. As soon as I get on it, it just stops pulling. Is there something that needs to be done to the car to make it run right with the intake or TB. I asked my father-in-law if it was having this issue before the intake and Tb and he said "NO."

Any Ideas???

Since no one else has answered I will give some quick basic tips, 1st check codes. 2, make sure all vacuum lines are connected, looks for more cracked or broken hoses, makes sure the vacuum hose you changed isnt smaller than the one you changed, and make sure all spark plug wires are secured and plugged in all the way, stupid little stuff but I would just double/triple check everything if it was running fine before.

Intake and TB swap is very simple and doesnt require anything else (as long as everything is sealed up right), everything on these cars is very simple, an the problem you are having shouldnt be too serious, hardest part will be tracking it down, unfortunately it can be more than a couple things.

I would double check to gap on the plugs if your not 100% sure..was there and adj fuel pressure regulator?...I had a similar problem and I was putting too much fuel at WOT but it pulled fine as long as I eased up the rpm to about 4800-5000...ended up dropping the fuel pressure and it ran like a champ

I too was going to say to check the tps voltage.
You may also want to put the cobra intake back on.
It is after all a 93 cobra, which are getting hard to come by.
Besides the BBK stuff really doesn't offer anything the cobra intake wasn't already giving you.
I'm not a purist, but there is no point in a BBK intake on a stock cobra.
