I have a 93 Cobra and the hatch won't open. I figure the lock doesn't open all the way. The key "pops" it but it doesn't open. Was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on a easy fix!!
Might try pushing down hard on the hatch while you're turning the key. Otherwise, I'm not sure that you can pull the plastic away and get to the lock adjusting bolts without being able to open the hatch.
