every tuner has their own idea of 93 octane race tunes lol

you need to ask the specific person writing your tune just what makes it a race tune and how it differs from the normal 93 octane tune

The guy @ American muscle tuning said its more aggressive than the regular 93 octane tune. Better throttle response & Shifts out quicker... but thanks for the feedback man. It’s appreciated

It isnt American Muscle. They outsource their tunes to BAMA Performance. BAMA is the absolute WORST tuner. I see that you're new here. You will quickly learn about BAMA. Everyone who knows Mustangs knows to stay away from them

Yea I heard people talk bad abt them. What’s better? I tried the Lund website but I didn’t see anything for a 2004 GT

What’s your take on SCT Livewire T5, previous owner already had it, but they had it on the 87 tune, after some regular needed maintenance I switched it to 93 race tune, I noticed a difference but she does drink more gas lol.

I’ve never heard of it. I had a Bama performance 93 octane race tune it didn’t do well. Now I’m looking for better tunes. I got bad reviews and everyone I talked to hated Bama tunes, but that’s all I could find for my 2004 GT.

Doesn't make much sense to me. A race tune to me means specific to the conditions of the day on a very well understood fuel that you can push to the ragged edge.

A pump gas tune, in my opinion, needs to be conservative enough to account for seasonal fuel, getting the occasional bad batch, etc...

Any tune you get that wasn't developed directly on your car is a risk, and it's also unlikely to drive well or perform.
