My93 mustang 5.0 will just die every once in a while. I just got the car in January. Previous owners have added an electric fan, alternator(160A sticker on it), msd coil, granatelli mas air, underdrive pulleys. I put on a new iac unit. It has quit 4 times on me and always starts back up fine. It dies when I am coming to a stop with the clutch in. I believe that all times I have had the air on and the fan on high. I have noticed that sometimes when idling it surges. Whenever the ac compressor is on the electric fan is on. I have checked the voltage with everything on and it is still above 12 volts. The voltage starts off at around 14.8 and as I turn things on it drops a little each time till it gets down to 12.4. One time while checking things, I had the battery negative post unhooked and it just died. Have not got it to do it again. I believe it is a voltage problem and I am pretty sure it has only happened with the air on and the air fan on one of the two highest settings.
