Are the Cobra/Mach 1 racks the same as the GT/V6 racks?

im swapping this into my car in the next month and i need to know which one to buy.

If they are different, what are the main differences?

Hmm...good question. Not sure.

However, I am running an 04 Cobra rack in my mod coupe. It bolts up to the k-frame, but you have to cut the inner tie rods 1/2"-3/4".

ok, so what is the difference in them? steering feel? which gives more road feel to it? im using the car for road racing.

The feel and valving are different. 03/04 cobra is the one you want, but it's more than likely more expensive.


I think the mach/GT's are the same. Not sure about the V6

Good, i just ordered an 03 cobra unit from MPS 5 mins ago for 75 bucks. thats a steal!

I was reading up on Corner Carvers too, apparently the 00R is the best to get, but very tough to find and very expensive. But from what iread, the 03/04 Cobra/Mach 1 racks are the best easily available ones to get.
