If your going to spend the money on something get a tuner and tune the cobra eec. It is restrictive in its stock tune form. However, it responds VERY well to tuning mods.

For about the same cost as the "kits" to convert to an older slower computer you can fine tune a faster newer computer to fit your needs 100%. You will end up with more power and better drivability.

Ain't it something when you ... hear ... things like you've brought up

AND THEN

You come to this site and ... hear ... a different story

I'd like to point out the two members above have extensive knowledge working
with our 94-95 pcm's and self tuning. You can easily see the successful fruits
of their efforts by looking at a few of their past threads.

With these guys

There is more than ... hear ... to it

They have ... done it :Word:

Don't believe everything you ... hear

i loved switching to the older comp. no more pinging even on low octane. and i didnt have to spend $400+ on a chip that i'd have to get retuned AGAIN when i started modding anyway.
