New here and am looking for a new car. I really want a Cobra but ive only got 7/8k to spend. Ive seen a few 96 Cobras on autotrader for 7-8 but I guess their pretty beat up. I know the 96+ have 300some hp so Id love to have one of those. For 7/8k what are the recommendations??
Are you stuck on a cobra? If you must then 94/95 cobra. Getting a higher year won't leave you with any money for mods. If I were you I'd find an early 90's 5.0 and rebuild the engine -intake,exhaust,cam,and gear. But that's only my opinon
If you're on a tight budget & want the best bang for the buck, go with the older model cobra (or even an older fox-body) and mod away. Plenty of cheap aftermarket available for the venerable 5.0s...
