An upgrade for me at this point would be an alternator. I have to charge the battery just to move it, and no matter how long I let it run, the battery is dead when I shut it off. Battery has been replaced almost every summer.

our years are going to be the new mustang 2 in magazines.

i got the new 5.0 mustang mag, and its got something about parts for mustangs under 3,000, to maximize your car. its got 79-93. 96-04 05-up.

first time i think i've ever seen a part listed like that.a majority of places will make sn95 together, and foxbodys together. some places i see it 79-95, some places i see it 94-95, but never not included in a big article for mustangs.

Well we got me,
Youbel (yobi1kanobi)
Derrick (GTA V6)
Jose (str8Stang)

and a couple others. Youbel just went by himself, which is why he posted this thread. My car and Jose's are running now, and we are planning a trip. IM sure we can get Derrick to go.

I think we would make a nice showing with 4-5 of us there with all highly modified cars.

I was never a fan of the SN95. Always wanted a fox bofy Mustang but for one reason or another i never got one. Well a couple of months ago i saw an ad on craigslist for our car and had to go check it out since it was very clean and the price was right plus it was a convertible to boot. My wife loved it so we picked it up and it is "her" car although i'm the one driving and modding so far lol. I have to say this thing has really grown on me since day 1. The interior is way better then the Fox body and the ride and handling are also way better then any fox i ever had out. Its a 94 with 71k miles and there are no creaks or rattles and its a very solid well built car, especially being a convertible. MY buddy always comments about how he can't believe the Mustang out sold the F bodies those years. They may be down on power but they are still a much nicer car. Go find a 94-95 Camaro/Trans Am and lets see how well they have held up. I was pretty impressed with the 1/4 numbers anyway. Even with it being a vert i made one pas and it was a 15.18@92.74. Now the previous owner put on UD, and flowmaster cat back but still very respectable. Plus that was with a 2.3 60ft so with a better launch and some nice shifts i have no doubt it should go high 14's. The beauty of these cars is the aftermarket! Now i have noticed that some parts are a little trickier to find for 94-95 but still everything is readily available by multiple manufacturers and distributors keeping the pricing nice and low. My last toy was a 94 Impala clone wagon and although i loved the car and wanted to mod it badly i just couldn't afford it. Headers alone were $1300 for that car At the end of the day i think it is a great thing to be unique anyway. But we are also the lucky ones we have the nice styling and better upgrades as well as the 5.0 and we all know the car is just a wrench session away from being a ripper.

I really like having a model that they only made for 2 years. There's a million foxes and countless new edge's in my town, but mines one of the only 94/95 GT's around.
