What happens when you mix and match these two parts? I recall that the Fox bell is a little more shallow than the 94-95 ones. Could it cause the trans to shift hard? (Like if the clutch is bad. Its a new clutch and stuff though.) Can the Fox BH be shimmed to accomodate the longer input shaft? This combo is in a project car and I want to move it to my 94 GT. Thanks in advance for the help!

Ok. I didn't know there was a BH difference, when I put the combo together before. I drove the other car a few times and the front bearing was singing and it didn't want to shift.
The V6 BH requires a 164 tooth flywheel, I think.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

On the 94-95 cars the input shaft and bellhousing are 5/8" longer. The tension the bearing assembly in the transmission is adjusted with shims on the front retainer. If you use the old bellhousing, the pilot bearing is going to put pressure on the input shaft, which in turn is going to put a lot of pressure on all the bearings and stuff on the main shaft. Better get that bellhousing out of there, or you will cook all the bearings in your transmission real fast.
