Roush 94 and 95 question

I found a guy who is going to straight trade me the taillights off his 94GT. They are not the vertical like I have they are the ones that go from side to side. Anyway they are red. My question is are the pieces that go over the taillights black or are they painted the color of the car? And can sombody show me a picture of them. I am so happy I get to lose the euro tailights.

.....I just went and looked at both cars. It appears to me that Saleen simply painted the bezel around the lights flat black. However, I do remember Saleen selling a black plastic bezel insert in the Whatney show room many years ago. Maybe someone else will chime in as I have never messed with the tail lights before to actually see if they are one piece or two......

Saleen used the black plastic bezels on the 94-95 cars.

I know for certain that Saleen used an overlay on the '94-'95 cars to slightly alter the appearance of the tail lights & also make the bezel black instead of body color.
I believe they also used an overlay on the '96-'98 cars, too, because the OEM tail light bezels were body-colored. My '98 definitely has an overlay installed & it is original.

Yes,

On all of the tailights, 94-95 style and 96-98. I remember watching some of them being spray painted (from a can ) out back at Whatney.

Thanks for all your help guys. I will post up some pics when I get them put on and my car back from the body shop. I really thank you guys for helping me even though I have a V6.
