This winter I’ve decided to give my stock 192K mile 302 a refresh. Shooting for somewhere in between 300/325hp, nothing crazy. What kind of combination of intake, cam and heads can I put together and not have it give me a huge headache? I am prepared for a headache with this build but I don’t want to loose my mind completely. Just looking for a nice well balanced, hot little engine that likes to rev. Is there a similar thread out there that someone could link me and save yourself some explaining? Thanks!

If you look through that thread there’s some good little builds.

If I were to do a power pack I would get this one from Anderson - especially for just a street cruiser. Should get you to 300. It pretty comes with everything minus fuel pump, injectors, throttle body, and a maf. You Should be able to piece the rest together for under $1k
