94 GT trans swap T5 to T45

I had a 94 mustang GT given to me , but it did not have a trany. its made for a t5. my friend has a t45 sitting around and i would like to know if a t45 will work?

I am under the impression that T-45s have a connected Bellhousing and that bell housing is made for the mod 4.6L and will not fit a 5.0L.

It's been asked before and I think the sentiments were that it's more trouble than it's worth. I don't remember specifics though - try a search for more info.

T-5's are cheap enough that it's not worth the pain to do T-45 swap.

Hey does your Friend still have the Transmission? If he does is he looking to sell it?
