I have a 94 GT that will not turn over after running. I can get it started be giving a little gas but if I take my foot off it will stop running. If I wait 5 or 10 min it will start with no problem and run great. If i keep my foot on it to keep it running i can feel the rpm go up little and I know it will stay running after that.

Thanks

Run codes and consider that your IAC went south or is dirty.

Only clean the IAC if you're prepared to buy a new one, as they sometimes go south after being cleaned.

Good luck.

The fuel fiter is new. I can hear the fuel pump go on when I turn the key. The car does not stall driving. I read that it might be IAC and I cleaned that with an engine cleaner. I might get a new one this week it sound like the problem. It use to happen at outside temp. at 90F and higher but now it does it at cold temp too.
Thanks
