I was moving the Lightning in the driveway and it died and will not restart. I trouble shoot it and found the fuel pump will only come on if I jumper the test point to ground, the relay and inertia switch are OK just no ground from the computer to the control circuit. Checked the voltage to the TPS and found 1.2VDC. I disconected the batt and then the computer connector and found moisture and corrosion in the connector. I cleaned that up with WD40 and a soft brush and reconnected didn't help. Next I removed the computer and could smell that it was fried. I replaced the C3P3 computer with a rebuilt C3P2 computer from Automotive Computer Exchange and installed it today and still no ground for the pump and TPS voltage is now 3.6VDC. I can jumper the pump but it still won't start. Swapped a good coil from the 5.0 Mustang but still won't run. I'm worried I will burn up the replacement computer. Where do I go next?
