Looking for some info on what I need to do: I have installed a set of 24 pound injectors on my 1995, 5.0 I want to know what I need to do to the mass air to complete the calibration to the injectors. Can I use the stock mass air or will in need a C&L. Thanks for any help.

An answer and bit of meter info for your consideration

Ford meters are not caled to any size injector

Ford does it all in the pcm

Yes ... You can use your OEM meter with two methods

1) You could use that OEM meter by using a Pro Tuned Chip or Self
Tuning Interface such as Tweecer, SCT, PMS, etc.

2) You could also use that OEM meter by switching over to a j4j1 pcm
that is the OEM pcm for the 94-95 Cobra.

Aftermarket meters such as ProM and C&L use a calibrated method
which works better on the older Fox Stangs than our 94-95 Stangs.

ProM does the cal electronically
and
C&L uses a mechanical method

Starting in 1994, load factors were used big time by the pcm to determine
the correct amount of spark and fuel to command.

It is the meter that determines the load being used at any given time
therefore
The meter absolutely must report accurate readings to the pcm :Word:

With aftermarket meters ... the whole calibration thing .......
it is built upon falsely reporting airflow to the pcm
with the intent to allow the owner to run the meter without a tune.

Bottom Line Here

That ... Cheat Method ... used by aftermarket meter manufactures

Works fairly well on Fox pcm's
but
Can be hit or miss with our Stangs

Rule of thumb is ........

The larger the size of injector you try to run with a caled meter of matching
inj size and without a tune ... the more likely you are gonna have issues.

The title of the post says in a fox. Is it just the motor or the motor and the 94-95 eec? If your still running the fox A9 processor, fox rules will apply.

The eec being used is the important thing.
