95 5.0 mustang versus 88 5.0 LSC engine

I'm pretty sure that aside from the timing cover, oil pan (oil level sensor in 95), forged pistons in the LSC engine, and intake setup...both engines are the same??

same e7 heads??

same camshaft profile??

just swap on my oilpan, timing cover and intake manifold setup and go??

The LSC was the same engine as the Stang.Just swap your accessories and misc. pieces on to it.

I thought the timing cover was different between the foxbody cars and the 94/95 as well??

Cam profile changed slightly. Not enough to matter though. i think it was for less drivetrain noise.

Accessories, intake, oil pan, throttle body elbow and headers/EGR system are different.

The basic long block though is the same. I think the timing covers are the same but not 100% sure

I'm sure the 94-95 uses the same short timing cover as Explorer, so you'll have to swap it.
