95 and later starter wiring

The 92-95 starter has its own starter relay on the starter itself.

Rewiring is easy.

Move the starter wire to the other side of the original relay. That will allow constant power down to the starter.

On the empty side where the starter wire once resided, run a 10g wire down to the relay activation post. Now, when you turn the key, power travels down the smaller wire and activates the relay on the starter.

At this point, the original starter relay isn't needed. A power junction block can be substituted and you can use a good reliable automotive relay to activate the starter
