So as of a couple weeks ago the cobra vert (#2) has beengoing downhill. All of a sudden the car won’t hold idle. And master cylinder went
So the car starts but won’t idle, I have to keep gas going to keep it alive. The car backfires in the intake and there is a audible hissing sound leading me to believe it is a vacuum leak but I couldn’t see anything with a brief overview. Want the car gone but would prefer to fix it before we do. All help is appreciated.

You can make a simple smoke machine (Google it) and put smoke through the intake and you will probably find your leak pretty quickly.

Maybe, never tried that. You need a smoke that is dark enough that you can see it coming out where the leak is.

have you considered that the brake booster may be leaking vacuum?
Check the rubber grommet that the booster check valve sits it. If it isn't in good shape replace it, cheap enough at your local auto parts store.
