just got a 95 GTS and im in the middle of a late model resto (Someone didnt know wtf they where doing before i got this car) but im having a real head scratcher of a time with the drivers airbag. Someone put an aftermarket steering wheel in and CUT off the driver airbag harness plug that connects to the airbag its self. So can ANYONE help me out and tell me which wire goes to which wire at the plug. theres a grey and a grey/orange wire from the airbag module and the airbag has a red/black wire and blue/orange wire. Airbag is out of a 03 or 04 GT

Pull a harness from another car. Repairing the wires to an air bag circuit is bad news. You change the resistance for one, and make a portal of entry for corrosion. It goes deeper than that but ya just don't do it. You will also notice that they use GOLD terminals so that the wires don't corrode, and shorting bars in the connectors so you can't set them off without trying. When you unplug them they short. Also don't try to test the air bag system with a meter unless you know it is a low impedance meter or the meter will add enough power to the circuit to pop the bag. The part that is cut may be part of the clock spring and is simple to replace.
