I've read and skimmed forums for the past 2 hours, going from typing, to turning the key about 8 times.
put a small can of 134 with a sealer into the low-pressure to see if it would help, it blew "slightly" cold"ER" air but not worth rolling the windows up on max a/c, Anyway, now almost a month since then i bought the tall 18 oz can and will explain the fun with that later, took about an hour but got all the refrigerant from the can(now just pressurized air) into the system.
car on: what im pretty sure is the LPS?(switch above dryer/evaporator?[passenger-side firewall can lookin' black object] clicks, A/C pump engages, turns on for about 5 seconds(dropping system pressure to 35 psi) until max system pressure and shuts off(max = 55psi from gauge on 134 can) while compressor is on, idle drops 100-200 rpm, then returns to normal idle without clutch engaged on a/c, and idles as if normal(with a/c set to "off")
no engine problems, afraid to say it runs perfect because it is(saying so is bad luck) just sort of stuck with this a/c issue of it blowing hot-air like the heater.
compressor engaged: Idle drops 1-200 rpm, when compressor disengages, idle returns to normal.
have not checked the CCRM yet, still researching on it.
A/C max, with temp control all the way cool, still just blows hot air as if the heater were on, maybe a control problem behind the knobs?
Notes: i when i put the can of 134 w/sealant, can had to be up-side down, after reading this can i used lately, found out i was just pressurizing it without also putting in freon "Attach to LP side and stand can UP-RIGHT" enter remarks here
i let pressure "not less then 10 psi" out and pressurized with can delivering the refrigerant this time, had to keep releasing pressure and adding more, unsure what freon looks like (liquid?) when letting pressure out, noticed just air was being let out(again freon a vapor? lol) finally til the can was empty after about 8 rinse/repeat's later.
Compressor clutch engages about every 5 seconds, with approx 5 seconds of pressurizing, pressure drops when clutch engages. No leaks is my guess, since it didn't lose pressure over the month between freon fill-ups.
And ideas of what i could try? called a guy at a a/c repair but he said $50 just to look at it. pictures would be helpful when explaining certain parts.
i learn as i go, and tips/tricks appreciated.
