95 gt bad tranny?

i just got a 95 gt auto. stock. it was said to have a brand new tranny in it but shifts hard sometimes but only going fast. Its never slipped. but one time in the cold morning it wouldnt shift until my rps wne up to like 4000 but only ouce. is my tranny going out?

It probably has a trans pack in it, which is a good thing. Hard shifts are a good thing. It not only makes the car faster, but it also makes the transmission last longer. Consider yourself lucky.
