What are the difference between the 2 motors? Both 1994- 1995 models. Is there any? Is there a difference i the fuel system? Or could you basically just drop a Cobra motor into a GT without having to change anything?

Cobra's have 24lb injectors, GT40 heads, Cobra Intake, 1.7 Roller rockers, different cam, and a different computer...

Ditto, plus the Cobra has a beefer suspension, brakes, and tranny.

So the GT and the Cobra computers are not the same. Is the rest of the fuel system?

Oh yeah, the computer is different, and the injectors are different, but the engine should drop right in. I would just change out the computer. I think it will run with a GT computer but not to its full potential. Why, what are you building?

Go to the 94-95 specific section and click on the FAQ thread at the top. Scroll down to the very bottom and all the differences are given.

I really dont think i would go through the trouble to swap a cobra motor into a GT. For what like a 30hp gain? Not really worth it to me. I would rather just do the basic bolt ons like me. Or do a good Heads cam intake on the GT. The heads cam and intake are the only difference between the GT and the cobra. Swap those from ur GT and put some better aftermarket ones on there. I dont see any reason to waste your time with the cobra parts.

Well then it's a good thing that its going into my V6 and not a GT. I'll check out the FAQ section. Thanks!
