I've been looking for a 2nd mustang for a while now and have focused on 96-98 cobras but I seem to see a lot with relatively low mileage, <80K, with replaced engines - a few have mentioned bearing problems. Are the known issues, perhaps oiling, with these engines, or are they just being beat to hell?

96-98 cobras have no red line on the tach so people tend to rev the H3ll out of them and ALL motors are prone to spinning rods above 8K rpm it's just hard on them and 4.6 4v's love to rev so >? party till she pops !! then cry when you get the bill. 96-98 cobras also don't do well when you boost the power above 550-600 hp . the rods are crap> so give it to a heavy foot or bad rods
