I saw JR mention this the other day, but has anyone installed a 96-98 Cobra cooling fan on a 94-95? I am still having overheating problems after a fluidyne rad, fan on high mod, and waterwetter. I know i'm asking a lot, but i'm running out of options to keep this thing cool.

I'm thinking that if you have a fluidyne, and you're having cooling issues, just having a larger fan is not going to solve anything -- you have to have something malfunctioning. You're not using the factory temp gauge, right?

Your sn95 fan is an awesome fan!! i have one in my 92 and its cooling capability is insane. Paid $43 for it too All you an95 guys need is a manual switch to control it when you want it on. Mines set up with a switch on my dash and a bosch 75a relay.

Nothing is malfunctioning...it's just when i'm sitting in traffic with the air conditioning running the car will overheat...i'm trying to move more air over the radiator to reduce this.

Put on a different thermostat first...a 180* should do the trick. If it's still bad, then change your water pump. Dont forget to burp your cooling system so there isnt any airpockets in your coolant. I have a 3 core fluidyne and i love it. There HAS to be something wrong with your car if it's still overheating with a fluidyne.
If u insist on a new fan, dont waste your time with another mustang fan. Drop in a fan from a Mark 8. If your interested in this fan, tell me and i'll get you a write up on the install.

I noticed your engine combo just now...definatly go for the mark 8 fan swap!

I can sit in traffic in 100* weather with the A/C running, and I have never gotten higher than 220*. This is with the stock radiator, and the fan on high. No water wetter.

So I think something has to be wrong, headgaskets backwards or some other blockage .

A friend thats owns a Stang shop mentioned to me to do this before I had my Fluidyne and told me that our little fans were junk and b/c of the recall issue. I have a Fluidyne, no water wetter, and stock fan with the high speed mod and I can go from 220 to 190 in 2 minutes or so after flipping the fan on. You may have other issues like needing more water pump flow for that 347.
